Sewerage Projects

The sewerage projects undertaken by the Company include:

Gunung Rapat

The sewerage system is designed to cater for an equivalent population of 34,000 at the Gunung Rapat Area in Ipoh.  The total average flow is about 7,600 m3/day.  A sewage treatment plant utilising Fine Bubble Diffused Air (FBDA) system is also designed to occupy all existing oxidation ponds within the site.

General Sewer Design includes :

  • Sewer sizing, hydraulic capacity and flow gradient

  • Routing of sewer for 47,480 meters

  • Depth of sewer

  • Pumping system (4 pump stations with 2 x 100% at each)

  • Manholes

Seri Kembangan Housing Scheme

The project is located along the KL - Seremban expressway between Serdang Lama and Serdang Baru.   The housing scheme when fully developed,  will comprise industries and housing with a population of 16,000 persons. This sewerage project comprises the following:

  • Two oxidation ponds with effective surface area of 0.91 ha and 2.5 ha

  • Six pumping stations including associated M&E works

  • Approximately 3,960 metres of gravity sewers and 1,530 metres of pumping mains

Tawau Sewerage

A complete sewerage system for Tawau Town, Sabah.   The ultimate population is estimated to be 180,000 persons and the sewerage scheme will be implemented in stages.

The Stage I sewerage scheme which,  on completion will serve 50,000 persons, comprises the following:

  • Approximately 7 km of trunk sewers with size range from 225mm to 1,200mm.

  • A pumping station of 850L/s and approximately 2.5 km rising main.

  • Waste stabilisation lagoons of 22.6 ha.

Permas Jaya New Town

Permas Jaya New Town, located on 1,400 acres near the immediate hinterland of the Pasir Gudang New Port in Johore will eventually have a population of about 75,000 when completed. As part of our work in the overall infrastructure work, sewerage reticulation and oxidation ponds were designed and constructed.

Subang Jaya New Town

Located in the Klang Valley, midway between Kuala Lumpur and Port Klang,  this development on 1,440 acres will have a population of about 75,000.

Bandar Baru Perindustrian Sungai Buloh

The project area of 268 acres is situated at 13th mile of Kuala Lumpur-Sungai Buloh-Kuala Selangor road.  The proposed project was developed by M/s M K Associates Sdn Bhd.

Wangsa Melawati, Jalan Hulu Kelang, Wilayah Persekutuan

The project area of 180 acres is situated at 8th mile of Jalan Genting Kelang adjacent to Taman Permata and Wangsa Maju.

As part of the overall infrastructure work undertaken by the Company,  the full sewerage reticulation including two oxidation ponds were designed and constructed.

Bukit Jelutong Development, Shah Alam

Located north of Shah Alam bordering Taman Cahaya Sri Alam, the National Agriculture Park at Bukit Cerakah, the development covers an area of about 2,000 acres.   The development will contain residential, industrial, commercial and a Golf Course.

As part of the overall infrastructure work undertaken by the Company, the full sewerage reticulation and treatment are designed and developed. Due to its size and time for development, a number of independent sewerage networks and mechanised treatment are used.
