Simpang Pulai - Lojing - Gua Musang - Kuala Berang Highway Project

Client : Government of Malaysia
The proposed road of about 35 km is part of the proposed second east west link planned by the government to stimulate development in the hinterland areas of Terengganu, Kelantan, Pahang and Perak.

The route is a 2 lane single carriageway designed to modified JKR R3 standards. It traverses mountainous terrain and lies within Sungai Terengganu catchments area. Five bridges and four viaducts have been designed to cross rivers and major streams complemented by pipe culverts and box culverts for minor changes.

Services Provided:
  • Organized and coordinated route survey works and soil investigation works.
  • Preliminary and detailed design of the whole stretch of road in package 7 inclusive of cuts, embankment, slope stabilization, bridges, culverts, etc.
  • Construction supervision of the designed road.

Besut Flood Mitigation Feasibility Study Project

The Besut River and its major tributaries, the Pelagat River and the Angga River, drain a basin area of about 857 sq. km. in northern Trengganu.

The project study is to develop a feasible flood mitigation plan for the Besut River Basin, primarily for the benefits of agricultural developments and Besut Irrigation Scheme.  Various flood mitigation measures, both structural or non structural, such as channel improvements, variations in barrage operation, bund protection and dam construction were examined and included in the flood mitigation plan.

Jambatan Perdana (Putrajaya Bridge No.10)

Client : Putrajaya Holding Sdn Bhd

A pre-stressed concrete box girder bridge with a maximum span of 84 meters crossing the lake in Putrajaya.   The bridge has been aesthetically designed with Iwans and Muquanas along the footpaths for pedestrians to enjoy the view.

Services Provided: Complete civil and structural engineering design and construction supervision of the whole bridge, including M & E services


 

Sewerage Projects

The sewerage projects undertaken by the Company include:

Gunung Rapat

The sewerage system is designed to cater for an equivalent population of 34,000 at the Gunung Rapat Area in Ipoh.  The total average flow is about 7,600 m3/day.  A sewage treatment plant utilising Fine Bubble Diffused Air (FBDA) system is also designed to occupy all existing oxidation ponds within the site.

General Sewer Design includes :

  • Sewer sizing, hydraulic capacity and flow gradient

  • Routing of sewer for 47,480 meters

  • Depth of sewer

  • Pumping system (4 pump stations with 2 x 100% at each)

  • Manholes
